Russian battleships:
ARMORED SHIP "PETER IS GREAT"
 It is laid in 1869 in Petersburg, it is gone down to the water on 27 August,
1872, and in 1877 entered the system. Until 11 June, 1872, was a " cruiser ".
It initially counted by monitor. In 1873 it is reclassified into the armored ship,
into 1892 year- in the squadron Battleship and v 1906- in the training- artillery ship.
It was the ship of its class strongest in the world. It participated in the first world
and civil wars, ensured the basing of submarines. On 26 February, 1918, to severe ice
conditions it $dm from Revel (Tallin) in Helsingfors (Helsinki), and from there to Kronstadt.
From October 1918 it was found on the storage in the port and then it was re-equipped into
the mine blockship. In 1959 ship hull was selected to the scrap metal.
